What types of alterations do you offer?
I provide a wide range of alterations including hemming, taking in or letting out garments, resizing, repairs, zipper replacements, and custom adjustments for formal wear, casual wear, and costumes.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, all fittings and consultations are by appointment only to ensure each client gets dedicated time and attention.
What do I need to bring to my fitting appointment?
For women's formal wear, please bring undergarments and shoes (or similar heel height) you plan on wearing with garments.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a $20 deposit is required to begin work. A 50% deposit is due for all services over $100.
The remaining balance is due at pickup after you are satisfied with the final result.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, Checks
Do you offer rush services?
Yes, rush services may be available for an additional fee of $20 depending on my schedule.
Can I bring someone to my fitting with me?
Most certainly! We ask that you bring no more than 2 guest with you to your fitting due to limited sitting.
Is your studio handicap accessible?
Unfortunately my studio is not handicap accessible due to 3-4 stairs at the entrance. Depending on the circumstance, our tailor may can travel to you!
Allergy notice: Please note that C. Moore Sewing and Designs is a home-based business where dogs reside in another area of the home. Although garments are handled carefully and the workspace is maintained regularly, individuals with severe pet allergies should consider this before booking services.
